MS&E Program: Ph.D. Student Jayan Receives Student Leadership Award

Materials Science & Engineering doctoral candidate Reeja Jayan recently received the Cockrell School of Engineering Student Leadership Award from Dean Fenves. Jayan is one of nine students in the Cockrell School to receive this award this year.

Jayan actively participates in the Women in Engineering programs, is a member of the Society of Women Engineers and the Electrochemical Society, and is the former President of the student chapter of the Materials Research Society on campus, which she revived from inactivity.
