Research Summary: The main objective of my research project is to create a bioactive PEG-based hydrogel scaffold for engineering cartilage. The ultimate goal of this project is to create a single multi-layered structure with zone specific biomaterials for the simultaneous differentiation of MSCs into structurally organized articular cartilage tissue.
