Equipment: High output (200kW) Rigaku rotating anode generator

Description

Equipment consists of a Rigaku RU-200 Rotating Anode Generator with Cu target in "spot" beam geometry.  A Burger precession camera can be mounted on one port to for transmission photography.  The camera accepts an image plate which can be read and saved as a bit-map image.  The generator is also possibly available for user designed experiments.

8am-6pm weekdays and after hours for those with building access

Facility User Education

Facility user education on individual basis after completion of TXCLASS OH306 (X-Ray Safety).  Initial facility user education consists of about 1 hour of instrument overview and operation.
